What we collect when you contact us, why we hold it, and how to have it removed.
This policy covers Shishi G-Shield Seafood Technology Co., Ltd and the website at g-shield.cn. It is written for business buyers: we collect what we need to answer an enquiry and to perform an export contract, and nothing else.

Who is responsible

What we collect
- Enquiry details you type into the form — name, company, country, email, phone or WhatsApp number, the product and quantity you ask about, destination port and your message. Only name and one contact channel are required.
- Server logs — IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and time. These exist for security and to diagnose faults.
We do not run advertising trackers and we do not set marketing cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own.
Why we hold it
- To answer your enquiry, quote a price and agree a specification.
- To perform a contract of sale: proforma invoice, production, shipping documents and customs clearance.
- To keep the commercial record that export and tax rules require us to keep.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse.
Where the law requires a stated basis, we rely on your consent when you submit the form, on the steps needed to enter a contract with you, and on our legitimate interest in running a trading business. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing.
Who sees it
Our own sales staff. Enquiries are stored in our own customer-management system, which we operate; it is not resold or shared for advertising. Limited processors see data only to provide a service to us: our hosting provider (Tencent Cloud), our email provider, and WhatsApp/Meta where you choose to message us there. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become business: about 24 months, then deleted. Records tied to an actual shipment are kept for the period Chinese commercial and tax law requires, currently ten years from the end of the relevant year. Server logs are rotated within 30 days.
Your rights
Write to tong@gshield.cn and you can ask us to show what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable form. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your national data-protection authority. If you are in China, you may exercise the rights given by the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).
Transfers
We are based in China and correspond with buyers worldwide, so an enquiry necessarily crosses borders. Data is held on servers we control and is accessed only by staff who need it to answer you.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted over TLS and stored on access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify affected parties as the law requires.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes affecting data we already hold will be notified to the address you gave us.
